Movies, Shorts, and Specials

Site Navigation

Homepage

From the homepage, users can:

  • Register for an account using the key received from their regional sales representative
  • Navigate to a specific brand page
  • Perform a title search across all brands
  • Perform an advanced search
  • Navigate to an external link using the Links drop-down menu

NOTE: Users MUST log in to access the site and above options. Only the registration link will work if you are not logged in.

Website Header

The website header is located at the top of every page on the site. Users can perform a title only search across all brands using the Global Title Search option. Additionally users can access the Mediabox, Advanced Search, and Links drop-down menu.

Brand Pages

From a brand page, users can:

  • Navigate to other brands
  • Search for a title specific to that brand
  • Perform faceted navigation using the following filters:
    • Alphabetical order (A-Z or Z-A)
    • Status (All, Current or Library Titles)
    • Type (Live Action or Animated)
    • Length (One Hour, Half Hour, etc)
    • Brands (e.g. ABC News, Disney Digital Network, etc.) – DMD Plus Brand Page Only

TV Show Pages

Show pages contain show and multi-season assets, including sell sheets, style guides, and title treatments. Where available, users can also access episode assets, bios, and seasons.

Episode Assets Pages

The Episode Assets page displays episodes as containers. Where available, these containers will provide links for photos and videos for particular episodes.

From the Episode Assets page, users can perform the following tasks:

  • Click the episode title to display all available assets for that episode – See Example
  • Click “Episode Photos” link to display available photos for that episode – See Example
  • Click “Episode Videos” link to display available videos for that episode – See Example
  • Add all photos for an episode to your Mediabox using the photo “Add” link – See Example
  • Add all videos for an episode to your Mediabox using the video “Add” link – See Example

Movie Pages

Movie pages display all available assets, separated by categories, on the main page. Where available, bios and videos may be accessed from the menu to the right of the movie title.

Video Pages

Video Pages display all videos available for a title. Clicking on a thumbnail will reveal a video player, relevant file info such as audio channel configuration, and related documents such as music cue sheet.

NOTE: For movies, video content may be hosted on another site such as Disney Digital Share. This link can be located by using the “Links” drop-down menu at the upper right in the Website Header or by scrolling to the bottom of the movie’s page and clicking on the provided video link.

Mediabox (Download Cart)

The Mediabox page is accessed by clicking on the icon in the upper right-hand corner of the website header.


The Mediabox page will allow you to download, remove items, and empty the items added to your cart.


Downloaded items will be compressed into a .zip archive file. The timing of this process will vary by number of items and their cumulative file size.


When the process is complete, you may access the .zip file via the “Media Download” link.

First Look

The First Look page allows users to access the latest Commercial Assets and On-Air promos available. Users may download the asset by clicking the Asset Download link.

Advanced Search

The Advanced Search allows for assets to be searched by search term as well as brand and/or asset type.

Profile Page

The Profile Page allows you to edit and update your contact information.

NOTE: For security reasons, you may not change your e-mail address.

Locating a TV Show, Movie, TV Movie, Special, etc.

There are several ways to find particular TV Show, Movie, Special, etc.


The Global Title Search in the upper right within the Website Header allows for title search across all brands.


The brand Title Search allows for searches to be narrowed to only display results within a specific brand.

Lastly, the faceted navigation can be used to filter the results based on one or more filters. The example above shows the user filtering results to show library titles that are categorized as specials.

TV Shows

Locating Episode Specific Images such as Episodic and BTS

To find photos for a specific episode, click on the Episode Assets link on the show’s page. The Episode Assets page displays episodes as containers. Click “Episode Photos” link to display only available photos for a specific episode.

All photos for an episode can be added to the Mediabox by clicking the “Add” link to the right of the “Episode Photos” link.

Locating Episode Specific Synopses

To find a synopsis for a specific episode, click on the Episode Assets link on the show’s page. The Episode Assets page displays episodes as containers. Click the episode title link to display the episode synopsis.

Locating Episode Specific Videos such as On-Air Promos

To find videos for a specific episode, click on the Episode Assets link on the show’s page. The Episode Assets page displays episodes as containers. Click “Episode Videos” link to display only available videos for a specific episode.

All videos for an episode can be added to the Mediabox by clicking the “Add” link to the right of the “Episode Videos” link.

Locating Season Specific Asset Such as Ad Art, Gallery Images, Lead Releases, Social Media, etc.

Go to the TV Show and select a season from the seasons listed on the right. The assets available for that season will be displayed. Click the ART, DIGITAL, VIDEO, and WRITTEN links in the asset navigation menu to see the various assets available.

Click “See All” link to view all available assets for that type.

Locating Season Specific Video Such as Green Screen Tags and Video Trailers.

Go to the TV Show and select a season from the seasons listed on the right. The assets available for that season will be displayed. Click the “VIDEO” link from the ART, DIGITAL, VIDEO, and WRITTEN in the asset navigation menu to see the season video assets available.

When more than 3 video assets exist, click the thumbnail labeled “See All” to view all available video assets.

Locating a Title Treatment for a TV Show

Title Treatments are located on the show page instead of seasons as some shows repurpose the same title treatment for multiple seasons.

Locating a Synopsis / Description for a TV Show

If a synopsis / description of a TV show is available, a “Read Synopsis” link will appear over the featured image of the show page. Clicking the link will reveal the synopsis and provide a link to copy the synopsis to your computer’s clipboard. Clicking the “Read Synopsis” link again will hide the synopsis.

Locating a Synopsis for an Episode

The easiest way to locate an episode specific synopsis is to go to the Episode Assets page. There you can click on the title of the episode, which will bring you to a page for that episode. The synopsis and any available photos and videos for that episode will be displayed. To learn more about the Episode Assets page Click Here

Downloading a Video for a TV Show

To download a Video, click the “Add to Cart” link. This will add the Video in your Mediabox.

All videos for an episode can be added to the Mediabox by clicking the “Add” link to the right of the “Episode Videos” link on the Episode Assets page.

Downloading a Graphic Toolkit

Go to the TV Show and select a season from the seasons listed on the right. The assets available for that season will be displayed. Graphic Toolkits are located under Videos. Click the “VIDEO” link from the ART, DIGITAL, VIDEO, and WRITTEN links in the asset navigation menu to see the season video assets available. To download the Graphic Toolkit, click the “Add to Cart” link. The Graphic Toolkit will be added to your Mediabox.

NOTE: In some cases the Graphic Toolkit is made available as a video document. The “Downloading a Music Cue Sheet” section outlines the steps for downloading documents attached to videos. To view these steps Click Here

Downloading a Music Cue Sheet

To download a Music Cue Sheet, click on the video. If available, the document will be found under “Video Documents” at the bottom. Click the “Download” link to the right of the filename and it will be downloaded directly using your web browser.

Movies, Shorts, and Specials

Locating Assets

Movie Pages will display categories of all available asset types on a single page. Click the “See All” link next to each category to view additional assets available for that category. If bios are available, they can be accessed by clicking the “Bios” link in the upper right of the page.

NOTE: For movies, video content may be hosted on another site such as Disney Digital Share. This link can be located by using the “Links” drop-down menu at the upper right in the Website Header or by scrolling to the bottom of the movie’s page and clicking on the provided video link.

Downloading a Video for a Movie, Short, or Special

To download a Video, click the “Add to Cart” link. This will put the Video in your Mediabox.
